Vogue Fashion’s Night Out came to Mumbai for the very first time at Palladium, Lower Parel. It was a fun filled event which i enjoyed with my girl-friends.
Palladium turned Pink for the FNO! Surprisingly the mall wasn’t over-crowded, but it was definitely filled with the stylish lot that reside in this great city! The Lakme booth in the mall offered hair style, make-up, and nail art treatments for prospective buyers and freeloaders alike :P.I opted for a nail art treatment at the Lakme booth and I must say I’m in love with their gold nail stripper polish! The place was decorated impeccably, with Vogue stalls selling t-shirts, bags and other goodies. They even had a Vogue subscription stall (where I got my subscription renewed for the year). Eye catching statues were put up all over the mall like the one above. The newly opend store Patchi had an ingredients guessing contest where you have to name 3/4 ingredients from these chocolates to win free goodies. There was also a display of clutches designed by the top most Indian fashion designers. Most of them were designed with the current trends in mind but some of them according to the USP (signature) of the designer, like Sabyasachi embroideries or Masaba prints.
The Vogue pop-up shop was an interesting concept where customers could browse through and buy designer merchandise which was listed at affordable prices. Due to its reasonable pricing the line ups for this shop stretched a mile and it would take roughly 20 minutes just to enter the store.Sisley had a live band performing (where I took this picture) and Zara provided champagne for all the shoppers which provided customers with a unique shopping experience.I got a chance to click a picture with the amazing Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the Ciroc booth.Several celebrities, fashionistas, and designers turned up at the event including Kangna Ranaut, Ayushman Khurana, Varun Dhawan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Hard Kaur, Sophie Choudry, Masaba Gupta, Nishka Lulla to name a few.
